WELLINGTON CAMERA CLUB
♦ r. — An interesting lecture was given to members of the Wellington Camera Club recently by Mr. J. Heginbotham on .composition. His talk was much enjoyed. The . club certificates for the year 1934-35 were awarded as follows: — Club champion, Mr. J. W. Chapman Taylor; runner-up, Mr. R. J. Seai-le; A grade, Mr. J. W. Chapman Taylor; runner-up, J. W. Johnson. B grade, T. W. Rait; runner-up, K. G.Killoh. C grade: A. J. Tymons; runner-up, H. A. Krebs. The .first competition of the club's financial year 1935-36 was "Figures in Action or Industry." Mr. E. T. Robson gave a good address and criticised the pictures. The results were:— Club championship, Mr. J. W. Johnson; runner-up. Mr. E. T. Robson. A grade: Mr. J. W. Johnson, 1; Mr. E. T. Robson, 2; Mr. J. W. Chapman Taylor, 3. C grade: Mr. W. Abbott, 1. <Mr. Robson also demonstrated points in his address by several of his own pictures. Five new members were elected. The annual general meeting will be held on Wednesday, October 2.
