AUCKLAND, February 7. Based on the money return,; the second Auckland wool sale held on January 22 was worth to.growers in. the.province about one-third as-much as the second sale in 1933-34;--The season's total distribution is £168,096, compared with £455,455 for the January, 1934, sale. A comparison of the results to date emphasises the poor return from wool this season against the previous season. For the two sales this'season the combined return was £256,346. It was three times as much, or £783,149, in the 1D33-34 season. The average prices realised at the last Auckland sale were £8 2s 8d per bale and 5.62 d per lb; ■ .
