(By Telegraph—Press Association.) WANGANUI," February 3. Alan Francis, aged ,20, single, was drowned at Castlecliff this morning. In company with Donald", Coull, aged 11, he went for a swim above the Usual bathing place. He was caught in the undertow and swept out" to sea.1 John Coull, aged 17, who was on the shore, endeavoured to" reach him, but was unable to do so. The younger boy Coull just managed to get ashore.
