WATCHING THE PROGRESS OF THE AIR RACE.— A model 50 feet long by 5 feet wide, installed "WHERE THE SUNSHINE LOVES TO LlNGER."— Entrance to the Museum at Christchurch, one of at Australia House, London, to illustrate the progress of the Centenary Air Race. Captain E. W. 300 photographic prints chosen out of 1200 entries from all parts of the world to be hung at the Percival, a well-known airman and aircraft designer, is shown marking the arrival of Scott and Black Melbourne Centenary Photographic Exhibition. Only four prints were accepted from New Zealand at Darwin on October 22. entries, this particular photograph being by Mr. J. W. Johnson, of Petone.

Father Kennedy is retiring from the post of Provincial of the Marist Fathers of New Zealand and Australia, and will be succeeded by Father Hurley.
