CONCLUDING SESSION

ANNUITANT FUND

The conference of the Baptist Union of New Zealand which has been sitting in Wellington during the past week will concludo its sessions this evening. The proceedings today included the consideration of the annuity fund report and financial statement. Tho report of the annuity fund committee showed that the number of annuitants now receiving.benefits from the fund is 9, namely, 5 retired ministers and 4 ministers' widows. The total amount paid to annuitants during the year was £741, of which £467 5s was derived from, tho annuity fund proper and £273 15s was provided out of tlic Augmentation Fund Income Account. The membership of the fund at the end of the' year was as follows: 36 ministers, 30 ministers' wives, 13 missionaries; total, 79. The capital amount of the fund stands at £23,399. Messrs. E. P. Lambert, F.P.A., X.Z., and A. T. Jaekninn A.R,A.,N.Z., A.A.1.5., were appointed honorary auditors. The Rev. N. R. Wood was appointed representative of the Baptist Union on the New Zealand Alliance. On the recommendation of the college committee, Mr. G. Binncy was received as a home missionary, and Messrs. G. Beilby and 11. Trotman were accepted as ministerial students.
