PROPOSED AIR SERVICE
WASHINGTON, October 14.
Pan-American Ain\nys today,1 in correspondence with the Postmaster-Gcrt-oral (Mr. James Farley), announced that they were considering tho early inauguration of a transpacific air transport service between California and the Orient.
Pan-American Airways has ordered six 32-passenger flying boats. The Post Office Department is prepared to ask Congress for an appropriation to finance transpacific mail-carrying.
