CHURCH CO-OPERATION

The following resolution was unanimously agreed to at the monthly meeting'of the Wellington Sunday School Union: — -(1) That whereas at the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church, held at Wanganui in February, 1933, the following resolution was adopted: 'That in relation to any area hitherto served by the Sunday School Union the committee and the director should consider the possibility of friendly co-operation so as to avoid duplication of effort, e.g., m examination or teacher training, that they further consider whether in. other districts not so served they might not likewise permit co-operative arrangements with all other denominations that might b: willing.' (2) That this, the Wellington Sunday School Union, is in hearty agreement with the terms of the resolution, and is prepared to confer with the youth committee of the Presbyterian Church in proposals for giving the fullest effect to the intention set forth therein. (3) That the resolution of this union be communicated to the Moderator ot the General Assembly which meets in Dunedin in November next."
