RUSSIAN MISSIONARY
Forced to flee from her homo in St. Petersburg by the Russian revolutionaries, Miss _Natalip Grushenkova, who is now touring the Dominion under the auspices of the Russian Missionary Society, has an intimate knowledge of life and opinion in the Soviet republics. From St. Petersburg she was taken with her family to the south, but when conditions became no better there she returned to the city, where she joined in the fight for Christianity in that country and in helping in the relief of her starving compatriots. Last evening she gave an address on the Russian Missionary movement at St. James' Presbyterian Church, Adelaide Road. There was a good attendance, and tTie proceedings took the form of a church' service, after which Miss Grushenkova gave her address. She will leave here this evening for Christchurch in continuation of her New Zealand tour.
