HARRIER COURSE

The suitability or otherwise of the new course at Lyall Bay for championship cross-country races was discussed at last night's meet ins of the harrier eub-com-mitloe of the Wellington Amateur Athletic Centre, the subject being introduced by, Mr. C. A. "Willis.

A recommendation by Mr. A. L. Stevens Hi-Ring thnt a committee be appointed during the recess to select a course for the Xew Zealand championship!:, to be held in Wellinclon next year, was defeated. The meeting adopted a resolution moved by Mi". R. Spencer, recommending that the Lyali Day course be used for thn provincial and Xcw Zealand contests, subject to a survey being carried out.
