CHEAP RATE AT AUCKLAND

AUCKLAND, August 15.
A special rate of Id a unit, less i per cent, discount for prompt payment for all additional electricity used foi lighting or display purposes in connection -with the Christmas holiday period and the visit of the Duke of Gloucester, will bo charged by tho Auckland Electric Power Board." The special rate will be available from December 21 to January 4.
Wiring for the special lighting will b© arranged to go through a separate meter, or where this is not practicable the current will be estimated.
