0. G. Hearne again won the 18 holes stroke competition, and suffered a reduction of handicap, his score being SO, 15— 65, next being S. Ward, 87, 21—66, L Barton, 82, 16-66, A. Charles, 80, 13— 67, and F. Andrews, 79, 10—69.

Next weekend the entries close for the senior and -junior foursome*. This event has been postponed until October 28. Owing to (he weather conditions the weekend competition for the Mrs. Barton Trophy was postponed until next weekend. The draw wW be the same.
