MAIN BODY OFFICERS

REUNION DINNER

A reunion, of oiliccrs who sailed with the Samoan Force and the Main Body of the New Zealand Expeditionary Force was held at the Grand Hotel on Saturday night, there being an attendance of 57 out of the total of 408 officers who were associated with both forces; A reunion of all ranks will be held tomorrow night at the AVinter Show Hall. There were about 7761 members of the Main Body, and of the 4.08 officers there are estimated to be 105 still living iv various parts of the world.

The executive officer of the organising committee is Major T. Lawless. Among those present at Saturday night's reunion were the following:—

Russell Ritchie. Tahiti: Lieut.-Colonel J. B. Davis, Major F. P. Tymons, 0.8. E. Moeraki: Lieut.-Colonel T. M. D. Stout, D.5.0., 0.8. E., Captain D. N. Isaacs, OB.E. Waimana: Major L. G. D. Acl.and, 0.8. E., M.C., Major M. Higginson, Lieut.Colonel G. T. Hall, C.M.G., 0.8. E., Major T. Lawless, 0.8. E. Hawke's Bay: Lieut.Colonel R. Grigor, D.5.0., T.D., Major G. S. Sharp, Captain A. F. Grenfell, Major D. McCurdy, 0.8. E. Arawa: Captain W. L. Moore. Orari: Captain A. L. Logan, Lieut. H. B. Maunsell. Souvenir programmes were autographed, two special copies being prepared—one for Genera] Sir Alexander Godley, General Officer Commanding the N.Z.E.F., and the other for Brigadier-General "Bill" Braithwaite, first Chief of the General Staff. A decision was made to hold the nest dinner at Christchurch, either in three or five years' time. All present indicated their intention of attending tomorrow's general reunion.
