An Imperial University mining lecturer, Mr. Kadokura, who has returned from a lengthy tour of Manchukuo, reports the discovery of a fabulously rich gold lode, assaying four to six grammes per ton, and stretching over an area of 7000 by 12,000 feet and from 7 to 50 feet deep, underneath a thick layer of silica at Shuangpikou, in Kirin, near the Korean border, tie also discovered ten other gold reefs. Their location is secret.
The assay is roughly 6 to 9dwt to the ton.
