HARMONIC SOCIETY FUNCTION
In order to maintain the splendid social spirit existing amongst its members, and especially to enable members to become better acquainted with newcomers, the Harmonic Society occasionally relaxes on a practice night to 6pend a pleasant hour or two in a social manner. Such an occasion took place last Wednesday, when about fifty members and friends met in the V.M.C.A. lounge. The evening was 6pent in games and competitions. Songs were rendered by Mrs. Potts, Miss Beatrice Douglas, and Mr. Alan Mackie. Prizes for competitions were handed to the winners, Mrs. Temple White and Mr. A. J. Nicol, by Mrs. Caigou. Supper was served in the lounge, and a most successful and enjoyable evening was brought to a close with thanks and musical honours for Mr. Bert Stokes (who made a most efficient M.C.I, and the singing of "Auld Lang Syne."
