ELLIS BACK IN SADDLE

A E. Ellis resumed riding again at Riccarton this week. He has, however, taken the consequences in good part, in spite of the fact that Horowhenua, who brought about his suspension, has since given trouble in his races, and was the cause of a judicial inquiry at Oamaru, where he bored in quickly and interfered with two other contestants in his race.
