ST. DAVID'S, UPPER HUTT

A STUDENT ASSISTANT

Church extension work in St. David's Parish, which now includes four congregations—Wallaceville, Silverstream, and Trentham, and St. David's—has made it necessary to seek further assistance in a steadily growing charge.

As a result of this extension work, the Rev. G. Budd, Superintendent of Home Missions, has approved of the appointment for the summer vacation of an assistant, Mr. W. H. S. Warm, LL.B., who will commence his duties tomorrow. Mr. Warm is a divinity student of the Presbyterian Church of New Zealand at present prosecuting his studies in the Theological Hall. He comes with good recommendations as an earnest Christian worker and an evangelical preacher.

Mr. Warm will preach at Silverstream at 2.30 p.m. and at St. Andrew's. Trentham, at 7 p.m. The Rev. G. W. Hunt will conduct the morning service in St. David's at 11 o'clock, when Mr. Warm will be present and is assured of a warm welcome in the commencement of his duties.
