OVERSEAS HEMP MARKET.
Wigglesworth and Go., London, September 3, report on the New Zealand hemp market as follows:—There is. nothing new to record in the absence of fresh offers from the Dominion and lack of trade inquiry on this side. The production of the better qualities is being taken care of by Australian and home consumption. Nominal values at per ton are: Good fair, £17- high point, fair, £15; fair, £14; common, £12 10s; No. 2 tow, £10. 10s; ■ No. 3 tow, £10. September-October shipment. C.i.f. London basis.
