Seulpin did six furlongs on the tan in lmin 19sec. Streperus and Flail galloped ten furlongs in 2min IS-Jsec. . Radiant Star, Nightly, Playground, Waikare, Limarch, Eogilla, and Waltzing Lily did gentle work. Oro seemed all right after he had cantered- on the tan. Epigram and Journey's End did the best quarter-mile, taking 25sec. At Flemington, on the inside grass, Verberry beat Phenomenon over a, mile, taking lmin 47* sec. Treyford beat Ethnarek over ten furlongs in 2rnin losec. Minch galloped a mile in lmin 46sec. ' Clash Color did nine furlongs in 2min 3see. ■ ■ ■■
The Marne galloped six furlongs in lmin 27sec, the last three furlongs taking 3SJsec. Chatham galloped a quarter-mile in 25sec. Sylvandale ajid Theo covered the same distance in tho same time.
