INCREASES IN TRAFFIC

Passenger journeys taken "on railway^ in Great Britain during *the first half of 1934 showed an increase of 5.2 per cant, as compared with the first six months of 1933.
Freight tonnage carried in the first 28 weeks of 1934 -was 10.4 per cent.greater than, in the corresponding period of 1933.
