REDUCED WAR PENSIONS

Two correspondents support the protest of "Mother" against the failure to include war pensions in tho restoration of tho cut. "Another Mother" cites the case of a mother whose husband and three sons served. One, of the sons was killed and the two others have now large families to support, so that the mother is dependent on the pension and economic pension which has been reduced. "Justice" docs not grudge the civil servant his payment and superannuation, but asks why mothers dependent on the pensions awarded for the loss of their sons should be excluded from benefits. Men who served in the war with distinction are now suffering silently on relief works.
