SWIMMING
WORSER BAY CLUB
The annual meeting of the Worser Bay Swimming and Life-saving Club was held in the clubhouse on Wednesday. The- president, Mr. W..H. Gerrie presided over a large attendance. •
Mr. Gerrie congratulated members tin. their very successful seasonlast year, and said-he trusted that members would continue to take a.keen interest in the club for the ensuing season. It was pleasing to see that the membership had increased and also that the club was in a good financial position in spite of the existing economic conditions. If was hoped that the coming season would see a revival in interest on the part of the' ladies and junior members. He would especially like to see the present junior boy's taking an increased interest 'in club activities, as it was from these ranks that the future seniors must be recruited. ' .-■ A motion recording the club's appreciation of the services of the retiring secretary, Mr. A. Bartlett, and the retiring treasurer, J. J. Warring, was carried with acclamation.
