HER LOVER'S MEMORY

A vow made sixty years ago, that she would remain faithful to the memory of her dead lover, was kept by Miss Flora Jennings, who died at Wimbledon in August. Among her romantic treasures was a wedding dress and complete trousseau that she. knew she would never wear. In 1874, when Miss Jennings was twenty-four years of age, she was preparing to marry. Her fiance, however, died with tragic suddenness the day before the ceremony. For sixty years she kept the vow she then made, and now friends ars looking after the tragic relics of a broken romance treasured .for so many years.
