The Islands steamer Tees has been delayed by bad weather at the Chatham Islands, according to advice which has been received in Wellington. She left Lyttelton early last week for the Islands.. THE CANADIAN LEADER. The Canadian Leader, which is due at Auckland on Sunday from Montreal, will now take the Wellington cargo originally intended to be lifted here by the Canadian Scottish on October 31. The Canadian Leader is due here next Friday, sailing the following day for Sydney, en route to Halifax, via American ports. The Canadian Scottish will load at Bluff on October 26 and will complete at Timaru, sailing about October 29 for New York, Boston, and Halifax direct. DALVEEN REPORTS. En route from Java with a cargo of raw sugar the Dalveen has reported by wireless that she expects to reach Auckland on Sunday afterlioou. NAVAL TANKER NUCULA. A voyage of 22,000 miles was completed by the naval tanker Nucula when she returned to Auckland from Persia on Wednesday morning. The vessel sailed from Auckland on Juno 20 and proceeded first to Bora Bora Island, where she refuelled H.M.S. Diomede. The tanker next visited Suva and replenished the bunkers, of H.M.S. Dunedin. From Suva the tanker went to Colombo and thence to the Persian nort of Abadan, where she loaded a full cargo of oil.fuel for the Australian and New Zealand Naval Departments. From Abadan she went to Sydney, via Colombo, and after unloading a quantity of oil fuel into the naval tanks ori shore she left Sydney for Auckland. The voyage was uneventful. On October 24 she Is expected to leav6 for Persia to load another oil fuel cargo for the New Zealand warships.' ■ ' FERRY CHANGE-OVER. The Wahine, now undergoing overhaul at Wellington, Is to relieve the Rangatira. in the Wellington-Lyttelton passenger service on November 5. The Rangatira will withdraw from service on arrival here from - Lyttelton on Sunday, November 4, and will undergo overhaul and survey. She will resume running on November 19, while the Wahine, which will arrive here on Sunday, November 18, will wait over and take the Maori'i place In the service on
