ORANGE MARKET IN BRITAIN.

The deplorable quality of New South Wales oranges is realised when prices are compared with shipments from California, Brazil, South Africa, and Spain, which are bringing regularly 17s to 19s a case. The present demand is excellent, but New South Wales shipments are so bad that many are unsaleable, some bringing only sixpence a case. The Australian Press Association has been informed, apart from spine South Australian shipments early in the season, Australian oranges have been consistently poor.
