Toto, the most popular chimpanzee in the Zoo, heroically saved a keeper from death at the hands of, a gorilla weighing 5001b. Bobby, nicknamed the "King of the Monkey House," suddenly threw the keeper to the ground, and tried to maul him. Toto seized the keeper's whip and thrashed the gorilla until it ceased its attacks and gave the keepers time to rescue the faller man. '
