How money may be made is illustrated by the increase in the price of gold. ToAay fine gold is worth in London £7 3s 3d per fine oz, and in Australia the local price was fixed by the Hoyal Mint at £8 15s Cd last week. The Commonwealth Bauk was buying sovereigns at £2 os.9d each.
