MABTON, This Day. An. unusual accident resulting in ninor damage to a car occurred at the White Hart Garage this morning when a vehicle which had teen left over a pit all night was receiving attention. Apparently the cables fused, resulting in. an explosion of gases and the ignition of fcenzine and oil on the floor of tie pit.

A mechanic, Jack Stevens, was extensively scorched and received medical attention. Ho is suffering from shock. Dense clouds of smoke issued from tho traildigg and the fire brigade ivaa summoned^ JTber-o was no damage,
