•\Ne.t profit o£- Prestige Ltd., Melbourne, for the year, ended March 31, 1934, after providing £4002 for taxation reserve, was £21,796. ., For the previous year net profit was £19,269, after providing £0371 for taxation reserve. The balance brought in is £184, and £2000 has been applied to writing clown buildings. Dividend has been paid on the 103,050 £1 cumulative preference 3 per cent, shares, also 3d per share on the 224,417 10s ordinary shares. It is proposed to pay a further dividend of 6d per share and bonus dividend of 3d per share on the ordinary shares, leaving £514 to carry forward. The 10 per cent, distribution on the ordinary shares is at the 1932-33 rate. The directors state in I their report that, although trading conditions had been difficult, turnover has been well maintained. They add that the activities of the company have been extended to the manufacture of high-class underwear, and that the company's lingerie is now catering for a quality mar|ket not hitherto exploited by. other Australian manufacturers;-
