WHITE PAPER ON INDIA
CONSTITUTIONAL REFORM
REJECTED BY CONGRESS
CALCUTTA, June 18. The Congress Working Committee at Bombay definitely rejected the White Paper constitutional proposals, also the award governing Hindu and Moslem representation in the Legislature made by Ht. Bamsay Mac Donald .in London two years ago.
A suggested alternative to the White Paper scheme is a constitution drawn up by a constituent assembly elected on a basis of adult suffrage or as near to' it as possible.
