OLYMPIC CLUB
The Olympic Havvier Club held a run at Lyall Bay. Despite the weather, there was an excellent muster. The distance of the run was about eight miles, and although it was his first time out this season that old "diehard," J. Perston, .led the pack throughout. The run-in over the last 400 yards was a tie between L. Meyers and R. Garnham. Third place was filled by K. McDowell.
The colts had their first'run of the seasou. The run-in was won. by E. Richardson, and K. Guest and J. Bezer tied for second place. Next week's run is the maiden handicap, and should be well contested.
