The,first 36 holes of the 72 holes competition for the Mcllraith trophy were played on the Manor Park links yesterday. The best performer was V. Hay (11), who finished 4 down. A. G. Radford (8) and -F. W. Page (3) were 6 down. Page won the play-off. ■ :
