A bogey competition played on the Titahi links yesterday resulted in a tie between M. Moore (scr), S. Crichton (14), H. Murphy (10), C. H. Gyles (18), P. McMahon (20), and A. Fletcher (24), who all finished square. . They tossed for the trophy, and Moore won. He deserved the prize, as he covered the course in even 4's. H. Boon (9), D. A. Crombie (12), and W. Kelly, (24) were 1 down. I
A fourball bogey competition was won by R. F. Aitken (9) diid J. B. Watt (20), with the good card of 7 up. P. McMahon (20) and A. Fletcher (24) were 6 up;, and H. Boon, juu. (10) and W. Kelly (24), 5 up.
Next weekend the third medal round for the captain's trophy will be played. The club has decided to run an open tournament at the King's Birthday weekend.
