NEW YORK, May 6. . William De Mille, director, announced that he was planning a cinema, production of famous operas with motion picture stars playing the leading parts, while noted operatic stars sing the score but do not appear on the screen. It is 7said that Laurence, Tibbet and Geraldinc Fam-r . and others agreed that it was impossible simultaneously to concentrate on the "necessary histrionics and operatic roles: It was indicated, however, that they were.willing to sing. the parts for others.
