United Press Association—By Electric Tel*. : .' craph—Copyright-'': :" (Received March 27, noon:) OTTA^,Marci26.J The National Products Marketing Bill, introduced in Parliament on Monday by the Minister, of Agriculture, provides- for the creation of a Dominion Marketing,,; Board with powers : to regulate the marketing of any national product.which.tße,Government by Order, in- Council may declare to be a regulated product. ; _ Powers are provided' to limit or increase the exports from Canada.of any regulated product at, any time and to control interproyinciaL trade also, with authority to recompense exporters for losses incurred through obeying the orders .of the board. Recompense to exporters-for losses due to fluctuations of exchange rates is also provided for when they result from the orders of the hoard. ,' Part Two of the Bill gives autli-. brity to'investigate arid regulate price spreads in handling regulated pro- \ ducts arid provides penalties up to 10,000 dollars when regulations v are broken.,' " '"■■-. v ' ..:--.. .'■■ :';' ..It is understood that ' the.board will start with three .members,, and it is. expected that. provincial boards will be set up to administer the.Act in regard to any particular commodity which it has been decided to regulate. ;■/;;. ; ./'■_"' '';■'.. .';.
