CIVIL SERVICE CUTS
TO BALANCE BUDGET
(Eeceived March 27, 11 a.m.) LONDON, March 26. The,"Daily Mail's" Paris correspondent estimates that 30,000 civil servants who have reached their pension age will be retired under the economy scheme, immediately saving £12,000,000 annually. An all-round reduction "of civil service salaries and the abolition of unproductive State organisations will help to make up the remaining £38,000,000 needed to balance the Budget. ■.:.■;• .
