KILTOWYN'S GOOD TRIAL
' Kiltowyn, who, according to a northern report, never looked better than he does at the present time, was responsible for a first-class gallop over seven fui longs at Elleislie on Saturday morning. The trial was on the course pioper, with the poles 43tt out from the rails, and he lan the first furlong in 12sec, the first half-mile in .00. 3-sscc, and the full ,distance in Imin 31sec. lie carried a light boy, but nevertheless it was a veiy brilliant gallop, and he was running on strongly at the finish. So far no rider has been engaged for him in the Easter Handicap, but it is possible that T. "Green .will have the mount.
