Wool circles here are apprehensive that Germany's prohibition may affect competition at the next London wool sales, as the Germans were- the chief Continental operators at last series. Some traders are of the opinion that the prohibition may not be enforced iv the case of Australian aud New Zealand raw wool, but brokers and importers are seriously discussing the advisableness of postponing the opening of the sales from April 26 to May 1.
