LONDON, March 24. The Berlin corrdspondent of the "Morning Post" says Krupps announces the allotting of a million sterling to provide a year's work for 7000 men, making an increase to the pay list in under two years of 16,000. Germany, since her departure from ■ the League, has taken an army, of 300,000 for granted. It is an open secret that the General Staff is determined that it shall, be second to none in equipment, and it may be assumed that the Reichswehu's placed or promised orders for artillery and tanks are the cause of Essen-s increasing-activity.
