MIRAMAR CLUB

The Miramar Golf Club inaugurated its 1934 season on Saturday under most favourable weather conditions. A mixed foursome was played, and a record - numb. .of players took the field. Guests were present from other clubs adjacent. The winners of the event were Max Moore and Miss F. B. Davis, representing Titahi Club. Their medal round was 75, and their bogey score, with a handicap of 7, was 7 up. The next best score was that of Mr. and Mrs. Banks (9), 5 up. Others were: Mrs. S. A. Gov'er and F. W. Gover (11), 2 up; Mrs. A. J. Keaney and F. E. Stubberfiekl ;(11), 1 up; Miss Sheldon and T..R. Lawson (11), all square; and Miss Denzil Murphy and V.'X Sutherland (16), all square. .
