Parnell scored 300 against Ponsonby (Hay 76 McCoy 64, Whitelaw 57; Cleverley four wickets for 01, F. Clark four, for 45) Ponsonby lost five wickets for 22. McCoy took four wickets, for 15 runs. Old Bojs, who were two. points behind Marist! gained a four-point win over Union, and Marist drew with High School, Old Boys thus winning by a point.
