FIRES AT HOKITIKA
(By Telegraph—Press Association.). HQKITIKA, This Day. . A fire which broke out ,at 10 a.m. on Sunday gutted.the control-room of the Westland Timber and Box. Co.'s mill near the wharf. Tlie loss includes I machinery valued at £300. The remaining part of the mill was not damaged. Early this morning a four-roomed ujioccupied cottage owned by John Cameron, and insured for £300 in the Guardian office, was destroyed.' '
