yBABY'S FATAL INJURIES

(By Telegraph—Press Association.) PALMERSTON X., March. 25.A serious motor accident occurred on the Levin-Foxton road late ■on Saturday night. A light truck driven by Bryan Everton, of Levin, and containing as passengers Mrs. Tiva Graham, aged 25 years, Miss Polly Kerehoma, aged 25 years, and Mrs. Graham's baby, aged 10' months, crashed into a lorry which was broken down on the roadside. Mrs. Graham was taken to hospital ■with serious head, arm, and leg injuries. Miss Kerehoma's. injuries are not serious. The baby died as the result of a broken back. The side of the truck was torn out by the impact. . . The lorry is owned by Mr. Doggetfc, of Dannevirke.
