Dr. Doris Gordon, secretary of the New Zealand Obstetrical Society, has announced that the following officers have been elected:—President)' Dr. Tracy Inglis, Auckland; vice-president, Dr. L. C. Anwill, Christchureh. ■ ; Dr. William Irving, Christchureh, who has been president since the inception of the society in 1927, is leaving on an extended visit to England. He was elected patron and a life member, and was presented with a silver cigarette box. _^
