AIR PAGEANT

HASTINGS PROGRAMME

(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) HASTINGS,' This Day. There is perfect weather for the North Island air pageant at the Hastings aerodrome today. The Southern Cross arrived last night from Christchurch, and other aeroplanes followed. It is expected that there will be a large number of machines present this afternoon. The new aerodrome is in a beautiful condition.

For the first time in New Zealand there will be a display of night flying by illuminated machines in the evening. The programme includes aerobatics, wing-walking, a parachute. drop by "Scotty" Fraser, a Verey light display, and mock air battles. Passenger flights will .be conducted in the Southern Cross.
