GARDEN PARTY

PLEASANT AFTERNOON

A garden party in connection with Wesley Church, Island Bay, held- at the residence of Mrs. Kerr, 241 The Parade, attracted a large number of interested friends. The garden proved ideal for the occasion. The members of the Ladies' Guild provided lawn games, competitions, and entertainment. Several attractive stalls had many patrons. Tea was enjoyed in beautiful sunshine. Mrs. Kerr was thanked for placing her lawns at the disposal of the Ladies' Guild atul for many other kindnesses which helped to make the day a success. , . The net results of the effort proved very satisfactory, and the fete ivas enjoyed by all.
