J.ne Bank of Australasia reports a net profit of £258,507 and a balance brought in of £169,783. The annual meeting of the bank will be held in London on March 22. American rosin is described as /'jumpy and erratic." There was a sharp advance on Monday, cabled quotations showing a rise of between i and 5 per cent, on the prior quotation. American spirits of turpentine is also an erratic market; prices . today showing a rise of Bd'per • gallon on quotations as at January H last, but in between the rise from the. low. price in January has been as high as Is Id per gallon, although the price has since come back.
