LONDON, March 13. ■ The first serious effort ta place the windmill aeroplane on the British market on a large scale is represented by tho Avro Company's acquisition from the Cierva Autogiro Company of tho right to manufacture and sale of the Autogiro, of which the Air Ministry ordered a number for experimental use with tlic E.A.P. and Army co-operation squadrons. The Autogiro has a speed with a range from 15- to over, 100 miles an hour.
