NAVAL APPOINTMENT
(Eeceived March 14, 2 p.m.) LONDON, March 13. Captain de Merie, formerly commander of the Diomede and Dunedin on the New Zealand Station, will succeed Captain Bonham Carter as assistant director of naval equipment.
