MONETARY INQUIRY
(By Telegraph.—Press, Association.) AUCKLAND, This Day. Besides eighteen, applications to submit verbal evidence, twenty-five plans from the Auckland district for monetary reform have been received by the Parliamentary Committee, which commenced its sittings here this morning. The chairman (Mr. J. A. Nash, M.P. for Palmerston) said it was hoped to finish the taking of evidence by the end of next week, when the Committee would return to Wellington.
