„ ("Times" Cable.J LONDON, March 12. j The Madrid correspondent of "The Times" says that the tension'now appears to have -eased. News of the declaration of the general strike, fixed for midnight, which was announced by wireless from London, caused surprise and is officially denied. There is now a possibility that the builders' strike, i: which 50,000 are idle, may be settled. The declaration of the printers' strike has been postponed to March 13.
